Black Watch has had a long and successful history in the color guard activity. Each year, the guard strives to be artistically innovative while remaining true to our signature characteristics. Our experienced, visionary staff members have led numerous WGI- and DCI-finalist and championship color guards, and our perennially talented team members make magic happen on the floor every year.

The Black Watch Color Guard is excited to announce its 2010 production "Affect-Ability," set to the music of modern minimalist composer Michael Nyman's "The Piano Concerto." The Black Watch show design has been created this season by Sal Salas & Joe Heininger. Technical staff includes Jude Boughton, Matt Hurley, Toni Tunstall, Sam Brooks, Bobbey Biddle, Michael Zablocki III, and Joyce Wolfrom-Roos. Costume design by Joe Heininger sponsored by A Wish Come True. Black Watch is under the long time direction of Mrs. Claudette Wolfrom. The 24 member company is led onto the floor by captains Erin Leifer and Katie Gallagher. The Black Watch is a 9-time WGI Independent World Class finalist and a long time member of the Tournament Indoor Association.
